Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College has come into existence in the year 2005 fulfilling the holy wish of the great saint. This academic multidisciplinary hospital of the college is a non commercial venture and is equipped in a ways which are yet to be available in other hospital in Bangladesh.
Sensitization Workshop on Antimicrobial Resistance Feb 28, 2026
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Bangladesh AMR Response Alliance (BARA) in collaboration with government work together to sensitize future prescribers on responsible use of antibiotics under One Health approach. This initiative aims to enhance veterinary and medical students' knowledge, build responsible attitudes towards antimicrobial use, and encourage collaborative One Health actions.
As part of such awareness program on Antimicrobial Use (AMU) / Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), the veterinary students from Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University and medical students from Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College and Shaheed M. Monsur Ali Medical College Hospital under OH approach will join in various participatory events dated on 28th February 2026. There will be an awareness rally, AMR quiz competition with interns, and social awareness activity with patient attendants at medical college campus, and general people around the campus which will be carried out by the students from different years.
