Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College has come into existence in the year 2005 fulfilling the holy wish of the great saint. This academic multidisciplinary hospital of the college is a non commercial venture and is equipped in a ways which are yet to be available in other hospital in Bangladesh.
Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College is recognized in Bangladesh as a leading, first-class private medical College dedicated to advancing medical science. Provision for admission of foreign students is available in this medical college. This medical college has an attractive setting to offer MBBS degrees for students from abroad. It is situated in a naturally blessed area in the north region of Bangladesh. Since 2011, foreign students are getting admitted to KYAMC. After completing the course, all pass the Licencing Examination of their respective countries with good marks and get a chance for Post-Graduation.
Like some other government medical colleges in Bangladesh, this medical college is under specific government rules and regulations. So the students who meet the required criterion are advised not to send applications directly to the college. They should apply through proper channels mentioning their choice of this medical college. Few seats are reserved for candidates from the SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Co-operation) countries. To apply for admission to KYAMC, international students must meet the following eligibility criteria:
A) Academic Records:
Must have passed qualifying examination of 'O' and 'A' level or equivalent examination with science background.
'O' level or equivalent examination passed not before 2022.
'A' level or equivalent examination passed in the year of 2024 or 2025.
'A' level or equivalent exam must be completed within 3 years of 'O' level or equivalent exam.
Minimum aggregated GPA in 'O' level or equivalent and 'A' level or equivalent examination is 7.00 (seven).
Minimum GPA in Biology: 3.50 (at least 60% marks) out of 5.00 scale in 'A' level or equivalent exam.
B) For calculating GPA against the percentage of marks obtained in 'O' level or other equivalent exam only top 5 subjects are considered.
C) For calculation of GPA against the marks obtained in 'A' level or equivalent exam, only 3 subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) are considered.
The application process involves submitting the following documents:
Academic Certificates: High school transcripts and certificates (O-levels/A-levels, or equivalent).
Passport Copy: A valid passport is required for international applicants.
Passport-Sized Photos: Recent passport-sized photographs.
Medical Certificate: A medical certificate to prove fitness for the program.
