Dr.Abdullah Al Mamun earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 2012 from Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College under Rajshahi University. After completion of one year internship, he began his professional carrier as an Emergency Medical officer (EMO) from May, 2013 to April 2014 in Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College and Hospital (KYAMCH).

In May, 2014 he joined as a Medical officer in Cardiology department, KYAMCH and worked upto August, 2015.Then he worked as an Assistant Registrar from September, 2015 to May, 2018 and as a Registrar from May, 2018 to August 2020 in the same department.

In September, 2022 he joined as a Senior Registrar in department of Cardiology, KYAMCH and worked upto November 2024. Then he was promotedto the position of Assistant Professor in December, 2024 and has been serving in this position till now.

He completed his post graduation in Cardiology (D-CARD) in 2024 from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) now Called BMU (Bangladesh Medical University).

In this period, he also completed CCD (Certificate Course on Diabetology) in 2020 from BIRDEM, Dhaka & Training on Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) program in 2020 from American Heart Association (AHA) and he also completed training on MCCoD (Medical Certification of Cause of Death) from Management Information System (MIS), DGHS, Mohakhali, Dhaka as a Master Trainer.

For Teaching & Research purpose, He also completed Training on Teaching Methodology and Assessment in 2022, Research Methodology & Biostatistics in 2024, Statistical data analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) in 2025.

Assist Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun has experiences in Clinical & Non-invasive cardiology (ECG, Echocardiogram, ETT & Holter Monitoring) and also interventional cardiology (Temporary Pacemaker, Pericardiocentesis, Coronary Angiogram, Peripheral Angiogram, Right Heart Catheterization, CentralVenous (CV) line and femoral catheter insertion, intubation & maintenance of Mechanical Ventilation, Permanent Pacemaker Implantation and Coronary Stenting)

Assist Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al Mamun has active involvement in academic activities of both undergraduate & postgraduate medical student. He also participates in both national & international seminar & Cardiovascular Conferences. He has four (04) publications in different national & international Journal.

He is an active member of Bangladesh Society of Cardiology & Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA).
