Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College has come into existence in the year 2005 fulfilling the holy wish of the great saint. This academic multidisciplinary hospital of the college is a non commercial venture and is equipped in a ways which are yet to be available in other hospital in Bangladesh.

Dr. S.A.M Husnayen Nanna earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in 1994 from Rajshahi Medical College under the University of Rajshahi. Following graduation, he began his professional carrier as Medical officer in ICU in Bangladesh Institute of Research and Rehabilitation in Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Disorder (BIRDEM), Dhaka from 1995 to 1997 then he worked as an Assistant Registrar in same discipline from 1998 to 2000.
In 2004 he Joined as a Clinical Assistant in Cardiology department, National Institute Cardiovascular disease (NICVD), Dhaka and worked upto 2010. Then he joined as Chief consultant in Cardiology, Zia Heart Foundation & Research Institute, Dinajpur from December, 2010 to 2014.
In September, 2014 he Joined as an Chief consultant in Cardiology and Cath Lab director, Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Khulna and worked upto September, 2016.
He Completed his MD in Cardiology from National Institute Cardiovascular Disease (NICVD), Dhaka in 2008.
In the year of October, 2016 Dr. S.A.M Husnayen Nanna joined Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College and Hospital, Enayetpur, Sirajgonj as an Associate Professor. He took his responsibility as chief of Intervention Cardiology in this institute and works till now.
Dr. S.A.M Husnayen Nanna experiences in both non-invasive & Clinical Cardiology (ECG, Echocardiogram, Trans-esophageal echocardiogram, Stress echo, ETT, Holter monitoring ECG) also Invasive Cardiology (coronary angiogram, Right heart catheterization, Angioplasty, Coronary stenting, Temporary and Permanent Pacemaker implantation, Implantatble Cardioverter Defibrillator(ICD) & CRT-D Implantation, Valvuloplasty & Peripheral angiogram) in National institute Cardiovascular Disease(NICVD), Dhaka for ten years. He has practical experience both Clinical and Intervention Cardiology in Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College and Hospital.
Dr. S.A.M Husnayen Nanna has active participations & scientific research paper presentation in both national & international seminar in Cardiology. He had training in Cardiology in India, Nepal,Singapore, South Korea, America. He has approximately twenty Publication and research article in different national & international journal.
He is a Life time member of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) and Bangladesh Society of Interventional Cardiology, Member of Bangladesh Society of Cardiology, Member of Bangladesh Society of Echocardiography, Member of Geriatric Cardiology, Member Bangladesh Society of Pediatric Cardiology.
He awarded as a Country’s oldest primary PCI (Paper cutting attached) & Fastest growing Cath Lab in Bangladesh in 2015
