The day-long educational visit was organized to enhance students’ practical understanding of the healthcare system by observing services at different levels of health facilities. During the visit, students explored institutions in Pabna, Shahjadpur, and Sirajganj, gaining firsthand experience of clinical services, public health activities, and administrative functions.

Visited Organizations:
    1.    Pabna Mental Hospital
Students observed mental health care services, patient management systems, specialized psychiatric units, and multidisciplinary team approaches.
    2.    Maternal & Child Welfare Centre, Pabna
The team learned about maternal health services, antenatal/postnatal care, family planning activities, and child welfare programs.
    3.    Milk Vita, Shahjadpur
Students observed dairy processing, quality control measures, pasteurization, and community-based milk collection systems, highlighting the link between nutrition and public health.
    4.    250-Bedded District Hospital, Sirajganj
The visit provided exposure to secondary-level hospital services, emergency care, inpatient departments, diagnostic facilities, and referral systems.
    5.    Civil Surgeon Office, Sirajganj
Students learned about district-level health administration, public health program management, disease surveillance, and coordination of health services.
    6.    Union Health & Family Welfare Centre
The team observed primary healthcare delivery, family planning services, immunization activities, and community-based health interventions.
    7.    Community Clinic
Students gained insights into grassroots-level healthcare, essential service packages, community participation, and health education activities.
