Prof. Dr. Ayesha Yasmin is an academician and physician specializing in Physiology, with over two decades of experience teaching in medical education. She is currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Physiology at Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College (KYAMC), Enayetpur, Sirajganj, a position she has held since January 2021. She holds MBBS (2001) and an M.Phil (2008) degree in Physiology.
She has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and is actively involved in advancing medical education and research in Bangladesh. She also gained international clinical experience as a Medical Resident at King Fahad Hospital, Hofuf, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
She has participated in multiple faculty development programs and training courses on teaching methodology, assessment, e-learning, and medical education management.
She is an active member of Bangladesh Society of Physiology (BSP). In addition to her academic and departmental responsibilities, Prof. Dr. Yasmin plays a key leadership role in fostering extracurricular and cultural development among students through her position as Chief Coordinator of the Cultural Committee.
